Event Description Our Travel Washington Intercity Bus Program is exploring how to improve connections across Washington State to make service more accessible, reliable, and convenient. We’re launching the Connecting Communities study to better understand where potential service expansion will be most cost-effective while addressing the goal of linking rural areas to the existing intercity network, transportation hubs, and urban centers. An important part of this work is speaking to people across Washington State to understand their lived experiences in traveling outside of the community and to gain their perspective on how the network can better serve their community at large. One of our public meetings will be in Pullman at the WSU Lewis Alumni Center on Tuesday, June 18th. There is also an online survey open through July 7th for those who are unable to attend one of our meetings. You can RSVP to a public meeting or take the online survey on our project website.
