Music for Observations live electronic music under the stars Saturdays at 9pm July 13, August 10 & September 7 Featuring Music by: Jason E Anderson analog modular synthesizer Kahyun Uhm field recordings / synthesizer Music for Observations is a 3-part music series that pairs unusual electronic music with the Jewett Observatory’s open viewings of the night sky on July 13, Aug 10 and Sept 7 at 9pm. Music will begin at 9pm and happen outside on the surrounding hill. The Jewett Observatory is located on Washington State University's campus. The events are free, all-ages and open to the public. Presented by the Digital Audio Collective and the WSU Department of Physics and Astronomy, with support from the David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities. Bring a blanket and dress warmly! Public restrooms are currently not available on the premises. Events are subject to cancellation based on weather and air quality, see Jewett Observatory webpage for details.
