Knit your own vest with this straightforward and flattering pattern! Saturdays January 18 and February 15 3-4:30pm What You'll Learn Reading a chart Twisted stitches Picking up stitches Three needle bind off Short rows Garment fit basics What to Bring *Have your swatch ready for the first class!* and choose what size you want to make! Skills needed: long tail cast on, knit, purl, bind off, knit in the round, basic increases and decreases (k2tog, ssk, m1L, m1R), basic pattern reading Materials Needed Yarn - worsted weight, e.g. Lanas, Ultra Alpaca, Andeamo Lite, or similar Needles - US 7 & 9 32” or 40” circular needle, US 7 16” needle, or SIZE NEEDED FOR GAUGE Other notions - stitch markers, waste yarn or try-on cord, tapestry needle, measuring tape Pattern - Librarian Vest by Skeindeer Knits, printed or screen shots
