Event Description The Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre and Disability Action Center NW will be kicking off their fundraising efforts with a free Zombie Fest on October 2, 2017 at the Kenworthy. The event features a screening of the fun zombie film “Fido”, where in this futuristic 50’s style world, zombies have been domesticated to become menial workers and pets for humans. Rated R due to some zombie related violence. Roaming zombies will be available for pictures and guests can get their own professional Zombie Make-Over. Free zombie t-shirts will be given out while supplies last. Doors open at 6:30 and the film starts at 7:00pm. This event is free to the public, but donations will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go towards the purchase of a portable stage lift for helping the Kenworthy and other staged events in the community achieve ADA compliance. “Life happens on a stage and everyone should be able to be a part of it,” said Christine Gilmore, Executive Director of the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre.
